The Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative is a collaboration of over 340 organizations, institutions, foundations, and conservation-minded individuals from Canada and the United States who recognize the importance of working together to restore and maintain the region’s unique natural heritage while also preserving its high quality of life.
The goal of the Yellowstone to Yukon conservation science and planning initiative is to put the Y2Y vision into action. The first step in putting the Y2Y vision into practice is to make a clear statement about where our priorities lie. This program’s mission is to create a Conservation Area Design as part of the process of developing a shared vision.
