Description:
The National Smart Growth Conference is coming to Albuquerque, New Mexico from January 22-24, 2009. The conference program contains over 100 diverse and cutting-edge sessions that last three full days. While many sessions will cover new trends and technical information, there are also sessions for those who are unfamiliar with smart growth. Another fantastic method to see the Southwest.
Our nation is beset with significant problems. Climate change, the economy, employment, housing, public health and water shortages are just a few of them. Never before has there been such a compelling need for community leadership and inventive solutions. Participants at the Albuquerque New Partners meeting will have an opportunity to learn from and be inspired by cutting-edge.
The LGC is expecting that the majority of the conference sessions will be AICP-accredited. At a later date, information regarding which sessions have been approved for accreditation will be published online.
