The Headwaters Forest Landcare Partnership (HFLP) is a collaboration of public and private organizations in Virginia’s Blue Ridge region and neighboring states working together to improve green infrastructure forests. The partnership unites community, business, science, environmental, and professional interests. We share a common goal of enhancing local community vitality, economic development, clean water protection
Many of our members have worked on many fronts to advocate forest landcare in our region and the country. Because our forests and their management are so important to more than just our local partners, we have worked on several fronts to raise awareness about them. The Landcare Center manages leadership for the HFLP.
