Saratoga County Green Infrastructure Plan - NY

Adopted in November of 2006, the Green Infrastructure Plan for Saratoga County is a regional initiative to identify and safeguard valued community open space resources. The plan brings together the county’s most important open space resources, including natural systems such as streams, wetlands and watersheds; working landscapes such as farms and managed forests; recreational and trail opportunities such as multi-use trails and fi shing access; and cultural resources such as scenic and historic corridors.  Read more>

Sky Islands Network - North/Central America

The proposed conservation system, the Sky Islands Wildlands Network (SIWN), encompasses about 17.3 million acres and extends from the Mogollon Rim in east-central Arizona and west-central New Mexico south to the northern Sierra Madre Occidental mountains in Chihuahua and Sonora, Mexico.   Read more>

Sonoran Desert Conservation Plan - AZ

The rapidly growing Tucson region will use the Sonoran Desert Conservation Plan to manage growth while protecting valuable biological and cultural resources and providing dedicated open space. To achieve these goals, the planning process brought together divergent interest groups to work together to create a balanced and fair approach to planning and decision making.  Read more>

The Southeastern Ecological Framework Project is a GIS-based analysis to identify ecologically significant areas and connectivity in the southeast region of the US.   Read more>

Southern Mississippi Green Infrastructure Assessment

The National Association of Regional Councils, in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, recognized and supported the Southern Mississippi Planning and Development District as a Mississippi Valley Regional Center of Excellence for their green infrastructure and Landcare program focused on greenway mapping and community engagement.  Read more>

Spartanburg Rapid Parks Assessment, SC

The Conservation Fund, in partnership with Upstate Forever - Spartanburg, completed the Spartanburg County Rapid Parks Assessment. The rapid assessment facilitated identification and prioritization of parkland, greenway, and greenbelt protection opportunities that advance the goals of local parks and active living advocates.   Read more>

Talbot County Green Infrastructure Plan - MD

The Conservation Fund was engaged to produce a county-scale Green Infrastructure Plan for Talbot County, which is centrally located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay.  Read more>

Taos Green Infrastructure Plan - NM

The Taos Green Infrastructure Plan (2004) is a common-sense framework for the development of an Open Space and Recreation Master Plan for parks, recreation and natural resource protection in the Town of Taos and Taos County.   Read more>

Triangle GreenPrint is a project to facilitate development of a regional vision for open space in the Triangle.
