Defenders of Wildlife is dedicated to the protection of all native wild animals and plants in their natural communities. We work with local communities, land owners and government leaders to encourage common-sense solutions that protect the interests of wildlife and people.

Defenders work in the Green Infrastructure COP includes leading efforts to create a national green infrastructure map, engaging in local and state-wide conservation planning efforts, including the state wildlife action plans, and working to implement these strategic plans.
